My Microsoft Windows starts at very slow
If user encounters this problem, please advise he/she to:
1. Disable startup programsPrograms that are loading up as the computer starts up to remain active in memory, are often one of the main causes of a slow boot in Windows. Disabling programs you don't often use from automatically starting up each time the computer boots can increase the boot time.
2. Use Microsoft ScanDisk and Defragmentation or similar utilities on the computer to verify the hard drive has no errors, as well as make sure the data on the hard drive is organized in the most efficient method. It is suggested running both of these utilities at least once every few months.
3. Check the space of hard disk since hard drive space this can cause an overall slowdown with his/her computer as well as decrease the boot time. 30GB or more of available disk space is desirable.
4. Check the memory or add additional memory (RAM) to the computer will help increase the overall speed of the computer and in some cases can also increase the load times of your computer. Today, we suggest all computers be running a minimum of 4GB of memory in their computer.
5. Check Windows update to ensure the drivers and system files are up-to-date. Out-of-date drivers can cause a number of different issues.

No display on my monitor
Please advise users to check the following points:
1. Make sure the monitor is on. If no power LED (green or orange light) is seen on the monitor display try pressing the power button until it comes on. If no light comes on after several attempts continue to below connections not connected properly.
2. Maybe the computer is asleep (in sleep mode). If user's computer monitor was on and he/she stepped away from the computer and upon returning it was black it's likely that the computer is asleep. Try moving the mouse, clicking the mouse buttons, or pressing any key (space bar) on the keyboard to wake it up.
3. Check the connections between monitor and PC to ensure connected properly. Computer VGA port and cable Make sure that you are connecting the monitor to the back of the computer in the 15-pin connector as shown below or DVI connection.

4. If user have followed the above recommendations and are still encountering the same issue, it is likely that the computer may have either a bad video card or monitor. The best method of determining this is to do one or both of the following:
- Disconnect the monitor and connect it to another computer. This can be a friend or family's computer or it can be taken to a service center.
- Borrow a computer monitor and connect it to your computer. This will not harm the other computer monitor in any way.
